Black Sabbath
Vol 4
Vertigo 1972
Rare issue of the 1st UK pressing. This copy has 'Made in England' on the labels which is usually associated with the second 1Y//2 2Y//2 pressing without the engineering involvement of George Peckham.
However, this copy has 'Made in England' on the labels AND 1st issue 1Y//1 2Y//1 codes plus PORKY/PECKO etchings (George Peckham). Also comes in the original 1st issue gatefold sleeve without track timings.
VINYL:
Bright and attractive copy with a nice sheen and clean labels. There are a few light marks visible but it plays through well with some background noise audible in quiet places and between tracks but which never comes close to overwhelming the music. Very Good+
SLEEVE:
Well preserved sleeve - 1st issue with no track timings. Some light signs of handling and storage. Would be in near Excellent condition but is missing the internal booklet. Very Good+
INNER/INSERTS:
Original swirl inner is in great shape. Very Good++
A nice copy overall!
