THE Holy Grail of the Vertigo label and an absolute wet dream for Black Sabbath collectors !!! Originally planned to be released with title “Snow blind” , the spaceship label format is so rare that most collectors have never seen it ! (Ref: the Vertigo Story in UK magazine Record collector no. 315 Oct 2005). Confusion with its value owing to error in 2006/2008 RC guides!! Reputed to have had just 100 issued against this seriously scarce label . Is worth £200+ at least!

Sensational/Ex+/Nr Mint- condition
1st issue Howards Printers gatefold sleeve with booklet attached . Mega rare spaceship label pressing . Hardly any released with this label format. Just a handful to be released as the end of the production had come, when the new spaceship design was introduced, so a mega rare pressing, especially in this remarkable condition and “hardly played” format . Most pressings are found to be vertigo swirl releases . Becoming extremely difficult to locate now especially in this hardly played condition.
Beautifully maintained sleeve with a factory new feel and appearance .Ultra clean. Slight printing fault on front face and is the only blemish to report against this stunning gatefold. No edge wear and spine is excellent+ with no visible ageing . Booklet is ex+ and is stapled to gatefold. Howards Printers printed and beware of Imported German album sleeves which housed a few of these spaceship releases. See pics for first issue album jacket and its unbelievable condition .
Vertigo black & white inner bag in excellent+ condition
Vinyl has virtually no visible surface marks under ordinary light. Under a stronger light, can observe some very light/faint hairlines when angled ,(possibly some being caused through sleeve brushing against the surfaces) which disappear beneath a staggering sheen.
Spaceship design labels appear with a couple (2) of extremely faint spider lines on one side, other side MINT , and the coloration of these labels project a magnificent electric blue/green effervescence .
Sensational condition.
TOP aural delivery to match! Channels are mostly clear and will not find a much better example of this massive rarity. Will be your final upgrade of this awesome heavy , hard rock psyche .
Ultra rare and one for the serious vinyl enthusiast .
