Description
Sabbath’s brilliant 1970 debut album presented here in Good to VG- condition only. This is very much a ‘starter’ copy until that Ex or NM copy comes along! Matrices are 1Y*1 420 19 23/2Y 2 v 420 1 1 1. According to the Rare Record Price guide this is most likely a second pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve – VG- Intact and in reasonably good condition but rather worn round all edges.
Labels – VG Lots of spindlewear but still very clean.
Inner sleeve – VG Original Vertigo swirl polylined bag. Age spots in evidence on one side, otherwise remarkably good.
Record – Visually Side A is Good+ condition with lots of light marks and hairlines. Side B is better and grades at VG- condition. Playback is VG- overall and it doesn't appear to jump or stick on my deck. Audio is generally still quite clear and sharp, but with light crackle throughout.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' guide.
