Original UK CBS label stereo 1st press LP.

The album was recorded in early 1970 after Leicester psychadelic band 'Pesky Gee' broke up in 1969 and former band members Clive Jones, Clive Box and Jim Gannon started getting into black magic, forming a new band 'Black Widow'. Their debut LP Sacrifice was released in March 1970 and they appeared at the Isle Of Wight Festival in August, performing their set as an on stage sacrifice ritual!
This is the original issue with the gatefold cover, CBS inner and the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-11 A-13 stampers of the first presses.
  The E. J Day Group matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with only some light corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing/creasing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the CBS inner is intact & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side that do not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen.  

The matrix nos. are; S-63948, A-11 mother stamper A-11, B-1 mother stamper A-13.
This is one of the early copies of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
