Original super scarce Nigerian Afrobeat. Never reissued, totally unavailable.

I can only find 2 copies of this record that have been auctioned in the last 2 years. One for $835, one for $318.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. There are noticable light rubs and staining to the rear but not substantial damage. The sleeve is solid apart from a 2cm tear from the opening slit, very hard to see. The is also a fade at the bottom front.

Visually the vinyl is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. There are a few light marks and signs of play, but no serious damage.

Audible the playback is EXCELLENT. There is little background noise and no serious jumps or skips.

UK Record Collector Grading System:




MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (US version of this term: Near Mint): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.




VERY GOOD (US version of this term: VG++): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (US version of this term: VG): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
