BlakRoc is the self-titled debut record from a project created by a duo of singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, members of a blues-rock combo the Black Keys. Together with producer Damon Dash, a co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, they created a rap-rock hybrid project that was recorded with input from a number of top MCs in the game, such as RZA, Mos Def, Raekwon, and many others. The debut album reached number seven on the U.S. Billboard Rap charts.
