"My music company pressed 1000 albums on the Vital label. I was able to leave Blaze 10 boxes of 25 albums each. Those are the albums that got circulated." This quote from Bill French, the owner of Vital records, illustrates how much of treasure it is to own a copy of Blaze Foley's eponymous album. This album would end up being the only LP of Blaze Foley's that would see the light of day during his short lifetime. It's said that Blaze would trade those albums for rides and beers around Austin. Included with this record is an advert for a release party at the Soap Creek Saloon in Blaze's honor. The vinyl is nice and shiney and plays wonderfully with minimal surface noise, only showing through on the more quiet parts. The sleeve is in excellent condition, save for a 4 inch split on the top, and the shrink wrap covers the majority of the surface. Ships USPS media mail or local pickup in Austin, Texas.
