Description

BLIND FAITH Change Of Address From June 23rd 1969 (Incredibly rare original 1969 UK promotional only pink Island label 7" vinyl single issued to notify record company execs that Island was moving to Basing Street. The musical content is an instrumental jam session and this is one of only 500 copies made!

Excellent condition - same rare jam session on both sides. Vinyl has some slight marks and scuffs but plays absolutely fine.

This ultra rare 7" was issued to notify record industry insiders of Island Records' move to Basing Street. What is highly unusual is that Blind Faith were not signed to Island!

Though the record does not have a catalogue number there is a machine stamped matrix reference in the 'dead wax' areas on both sides which reads BASING+STREET.

The labels have no blemishes, writing or flaws of any kind and the original four pronged push-out centre remains intact.
One side of the label is titled 'Change Of Address From June 23rd 1969' and the other side is titled 'Sales Office'. The musical content is the same on both sides.

The vinyl has only a few light surface marks - nothing to affect play. These marks have probably been caused by the vinyl rubbing against the paper sleeve. It retains a truly beautiful lustre.
