Description
Riverside RLP 1053, "Blind Lemon's Penitentiary Blues" from the early 1950s (with West 49th Street address). White-label vinyl play-grades at a clean NM, with the obvious caveat that the tracks are from old 78s and sound primitive. Lightly laminated jacket is clean and solid all around with the exception of about 3" (7 cm) of flaking on the lower spine and half an inch (1 cm) of flaking on lower seam at opening. Songs include "Blind Lemon's Penitentiary Blues", "Bad Luck Blues", "Big Night Blues", "Peach Orchard Mama", "Sunshine Special", "Chuck House Blues", "Long Distance Moan" and "Baker Shop".
