Description

One of the earliest reissues of the 1927-30 78s recorded by Johnson. The back of the jacket says "Recorded under the supervision of Samuel Charters" but I'm sure they meant transferred from 78s. It's a nice transfer from probably N- copies. This LP is in near mint condition although there is a tiny 2mm scratch at the beginning of lead in area of cut 1 side 1. Not really enough to downgrade to EX but may be audible although at first I thought it was the 78 copy used but everything beyond the first say 10 seconds of playback is tick-free throughout the album.
