Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground/Nobody’s Fault But Mine.


Prewar blues classic, the one everyone knows and loves, the one that got sent into space, etc.


Grading conservatively, I grade this G+ with it’s fair share of scratches and steel needle wear on both sides. No skips. You might be able to get some better sound out of it with some EQ adjustment. It’s been a serviceable and enjoyable copy for a number of years, for me at least. I played it with a 3.5 mil truncated elliptical stylus, and if you are interested in a sound clip please message me.


I am an experienced collector of 78s and an occasional dealer, so you can trust me with grading and packaging. I ship in an oversized box, sandwich the record between cardboard padding and float it within either peanuts or newspaper. If you aren’t satisfied, I’ll gladly refund you and send the record back within 14 days.
