Description

Blind Willie McTell recorded these 13 songs in an informal recording session in the fall of 1956. This record was initially released on the Bluesville label in 1961, and this recording was re-issued on the Prestige “trident” label around 1966.

This record has been cleaned and play graded. The record surfaces are rated as VG+, with clean, quiet surfaces. The record cover is in G+ condition - the front cover is scuffed with light ring wear. There is a retail store sticker on the upper right corner. The back cover has some staining (see photos). The lower seam is intact with no splits, but the spine and upper seam are totally split. The labels are clean and unmarked, with moderate spindle wear.
