Blodwyn Pig Ahead Rings Out UK Island Pink label with "Eye" Logo ILPS 9101
Lovely pressing of this very rare lp.
Matrices ILPS 9101 A and ILPS 9101 B2
The record is in excellent condition. It is flat and very clean and shiny. There are a couple of very light marks that are barely visible, not feelable, and do not make a difference to the sound. There are a few spindle marks indicating that the lp has been played, but it has been well looked after and sounds excellent throughout.
The labels are in excellent condition. They are pink with the Island "eye" logo indicating a first pressing. They are free from wear, writing, rips, tears or stickers. Other than the spindle marks the labels are mint.
The cover is in, at least, very good condition. Being unlaminated this sleeve is notoriously prone to wear. This copy is in very good shape: much better than most. There is some wear to the corners and spine (see photos) and some light ringwear to the rear. There is a little creasing towards the middle of the front cover (see photo). Other than that there are no problems at all.
This is not a mint copy of this very rare lp (do any copies still exist?). It will, however, satisfy all but the most exacting of collectors. Happy bidding.
