Description

An original 1st press on Chrysalis for the UK market. Matrix A2/B1 -essentially very 1st cut...I don't think A1/B1 made it to the market place... Of importance to someone really looking for one of the very earliest copies. You are getting a close as possible to the original master. The other thing you are snagging is a marginally thicker pressing. Remember this title sold by the bucket load -- but they started cutting corners pretty early...many copies are super flimsy.  The vinyl comes housed in an original England printed cover. We also have the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and ha sonly seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slightest marks per side, one very superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slightest deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A lovely clean player which will deliver maximum audio for you. Hardly any background at all. Initial drum beats of Fade Away are with a total clean backdrop - a sign of a lightly used copy. I detected a couple of minor ticks in one isolated spot..that was it!!. Highly recommended...particularly if you are absolutely insistent on Best Audio...
Cover (Ex-) Very smart looking surfaces flat and without much sign of creasing. A touch of slight edge wear in a couple of spots - nothing worrisome at all. Text on the spine is 90% legible with a bit of slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity...it looks fab.
Inner (Ex-) Fragile, but in excellent condition. No splits. A couple of blemishes.
