Description
Like the Runaways, no one wanted to touch Blondie when they first came out: too naughty? too iffy? too risky. So they put out two 7"s of X Offender by themselves on Private Stock records: one backed with In The Sun, the other with In The Flesh. This is the former in minty vinyl - plays flawlessly with no surface noise, pops or audible groove wear. The cover is probably VG+/Excellent with some ring wear imprint, one very small stain, and a little bending - no tearing - across the top. I haven't seen a better copy of this important record in 30 years.
Keep in mind I sample all listings on a full Linn Sondek setup and go in LOUD. Mostly original owner/purchased in L.A. in 70’s/80’s from the original Poobah and Aron’s Record Stores in Pasadena and Hollywood. I am releasing my HUGE original punk collection, 100 per month. 100’s of LPs and 7”s remain – check me out!
