Up for sale here is an original 1968 UK pressing of Blue Cheer's classic album Outsideinside. This American band played a style of blues/rock/psych and were apparently astonishingly loud live! This was their second album and features 9 tracks: SIDE 1: Feathers From Your Tree; Sun Cycle; Just A Little Bit; Gypsy Ball; Come And Get It; SIDE 2: Satisfaction; The Hunter; Magnolia Caboose Babyfinger; Babylon. CONDITION:
Labels: Both labels are in NM- condition, with only a couple of spindle marks on each, which are mainly visible when you hold the record at an angle in the light.
Vinyl (Visual): Both sides have a beautiful shine and has clearly not been played often in the based 42 years. The only noticeable marks are on the first track on side 2, but don't affect the sound quality.
Vinyl (Audio): I know it's subjective, but I've rated this as honestly as I can as EX+; there are some minor crackles in the quiet passages between tracks, but nothing serious, and the overall sound is superb.
Sleeve: The sleeve is the highlight of this record, and I would rate this as a genuine NM; how this has survived in this condition for 42 years is anyone's guess (I've owned it for about 15 years and have kept it stored away in that time). The laminate on the outer gatefold sleeve has a lovely sheen on it, with virtually no 'creep' whatsoever and with only the tiniest 'crinkle' here and there. The wear along the edges and the corners is minimal. The left-hand side of the non-laminated inner gatefold shows signs of very light handling but nothing worse than EX+; the right-hand side is NM.
Inner sleeve: Comes with its original die-cut poly-lined inner sleeve with printed blue text, rated as EX.
