Description
Rare classic funk / soul record by Blue Magic, with the album bearing the same name. Haven’t seen this go for anything under $90-$140 range on here, correct me if I’m wrong. This isn’t a first pressing but the Presswell Pressing, which was pressed in 1974 (the albums release date), meaning it was on of the first pressings.
Classic band name (think Denzel Washington in ‘American Gangster’) with a classic cover. This gem is a must own for collectors.
I have to say, and this is reflected generously in the price, there is a very light feeler scratch near the runout on side A which just causes a pop - the album still runs all the way through and if it weren’t for that, just very very minor background fuzz to report intermittently. So, the vinyl I’ll say has more of a VG - (minus) or G++ grade - too clean overall to be a G+ but that one light feeler puts us in that sticky spot.
Ask for picture if needed but that’s as thorough as I can get. Discounted classic that still plays through well!
