Description
I’m a retired jazz musician, and will be selling a bunch of my old jazz records over the next month or so. Please note I am unable to meet in person - all records will be carefully packed and shipped. I tend to grade conservatively, and am easy to deal with if a return is needed.
Blue Mitchell “Bring It Home to Me,” Blue Note 4228 mono vinyl LP. This is the first pressing from 1967 with “VAN GELDER” on both sides.
Sleeve - VG with light wear, creasing, small sticker rip-off spot. “AUDITION COPY” stamped on back. Includes original inner promo sleeve as well as a modern protective inner sleeve.
Vinyl - strong VG+ pushing into VG++. Light superficial wear. Some crackling in between tracks - I’ve had “audition” and “DJ” copies like this before where there’s crackle in between tracks but the tracks themselves are EX without noise. I’ve been told it’s from DJs coming down hard on the vinyl before a track. Very nice solid listen.
