Description
Blue Murder - Blue Murder (same / s/t / self-titled) record / LP / vinyl. 1989, Geffen, catalog # GHS 24212. Cover is in shrink with the original hype sticker (and a couple store stickers). I bought this new, played it only once, committing it to the popular preservation medium of the time so I would not need to play it again. While I think the entire album is fantastic, the tracks 'Valley Of The Kings' and 'Ptolemy' stand out, in particular. The band: John Sykes [Streetfighter, Tygers of Pan Tang, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Badlands, and solo] - guitar, vocals, backing vocals; Tony Franklin [Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, The Firm, Roy Harper Band, and many others] - bass, backing vocals; Carmine Appice [Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Cactus, Derringer, King Kobra, and many more] - drums, backing vocals; Nik Green [Barry Palmer, Roy Harper, Inner City Unit/Nik Turner, etc.] - keyboards. Produced by Bob Rock [Veruca Salt, Metallica, and many others], and engineered by Mike Fraser [numerous Canadian studio credits].
Condition: Vinyl is shiny, played once. There is a hairline across A2&3. I define a hairline as a line you see only under a bright light, and which disappears when held at an angle, under the same light. Lyric inner sleeve is as new. Cover spine corners are sharp. Both open end corners very slightly bumped. Please expand any photos to get a close-up.
This will be carefully packed with the vinyl outside of both the outer and inner sleeve to protect them from getting sliced in transit. All will be inside a plastic outer, with a sheet of solid cardboard on each side, which, with the LP mailer, will make two layers of either side. I'll take it to the post office within two business days of receipt of payment.
