      OUR GRADING FOR VINYL RECORDS:

Most records are visually graded unless otherwise noted.

MINT (M): Absolutely perfect in every way.  This is grade that won't be used unless the record is still sealed.

Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record.  This record should show no obvious signs of wear.  A record that looks and plays like new.  The  jacket may have only minimal scuffing and edgewear.  The jacket will not have creases, seam splits, folds, or cut-out holes.

Near Mint Minus (NM-): This record won't be perfect but will have very minimal wear with only minimal scuffing and scratches that should not affect anyone's listening experience.  This is a record that obviously was played but handled with care and is in better condition than a VG+ record.  The jacket may have very light scuffing and edgewear.  The jacket may have light creasing or a cut-out hole but will not have seam splits.

Very Good Plus (VG+): This record will have minimal wear with only minor scuffing and very light scratches that should not affect anyone's listening experience.  This is a record that obviously was played but handled with care by it's previous owner.  The jacket may some scuffing, edgewear, slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a cut-out hole.

Very Good (VG): This record will show more signs of wear with some scuffing and light scratches.  Surface noise will be more noticeable but should not overpower the music.  Record labels may have writing, or stickers attached.  The jacket may have seam splits, ring wear, turned-up corners, and cut-out holes.

GOOD (G): This record will have even more wear with significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear.  However, with all of these defects described, the record will play without skipping.  The jacket will probably have seam splits, ring wear, turned-up corners, and cut-out holes.
