Description

Single-sided vinyl test pressing of the Meade Lux Lewis recording "Chicago Flyer," released as Blue Note 39. Recorded in NYC, August, 1944. The record is unlabeled, but the session number BN1202 is etched in the run-out area (as is the number B-2354, the meaning of which I have been unable to discern).

E record with high gloss and clean sound, and inaudible some hairline scratches.

Although the record is vinyl and less likely to break or crack in shipping than a commercial shellac record, I will pack and ship as if it were such a record. It will be sandwiched between pieces of cardboard and then packed in a 14x14x6 box with plenty of cushioning material.
