WAYNE SHORTER "THE ALL SEEING EYE" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4219. Scarce vintage jazz Lp. MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels. "VAN GELDER"stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Freddie Hubbard/trumpet & fluegelhorn; Alan Shorter/fluegelhorn; Grachan Moncur III/trombone; James Spaulding/alto sax; Wayne Shorter/tenor sax; Herbie Hancock/piano; Ron Carter/bass; Joe Chambers/drums. The vinyl is in close to NM condition (beautiful gloss, just a few light non-audible surface marks). Labels are spotless. The thick cardboard cover is in MINT shape: bright and clean, still protected by the cellophane shrink wrap!! Spine is virtually perfect and legible. NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks of any kind. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York, N.Y. 10023. The songs are: The All Seeing Eye; Genesis; Chaos; Face Of The Deep; Mephistopheles.
