This is a like-new copy of Columbia PC 32858 Secret Treaties by Blue Oyster Cult. It's a repressing, according to Discogs, but the year of pressing is difficult to determine with certainty. As near as I can tell, it was pressed in 1974, the year of its release---and I'm pretty sure about that. Maybe your research will be better than mine. In any case, according to Discogs, it's a well-valued repressing (see photo of screehshot), and this one is in the most near-perfect condition you'll find. The sleeve has no visible flaws or damage anywhere, including at all four corners, and is fully covered in factory shrink wrap, which retreats only slightly at the open edge and wears a hype sticker in the front right quadrant (see photo). The vinyl and label are likewise flawless. Visually, they're glossy new, with no scuffs, marks, spindle wear, or flaws of any kind that I can see. On the turntable the sound is pure with essentially no surface noise, even on lead-ins and runouts---and even when I used my Bose headphones. Now, I can't guarantee that you'll hear absolutely no noise when you play it on your equipment. But I can tell you that I hear none when I play it on mine (possibly two or three random crackles per side---nothing's perfect). I'm picky and I grade strictly and conservatively, and I can find essentially no fault with this vinyl. Content-wise, this LP is a monster. If you like Blue Oyster Cult and you're looking for a new record, look no further. And on this one, I can't accept returns. Sorry about that, but I know what kind of condition it's in when I send it to you (and I'll package it especially carefully for shipping). I can't risk having it returned in any condition other than that. That said, if you don't find it to be in the condition I describe, contact me. We'll discuss it. But I'm absolutely sure you won't be disappointed, and that you'll find that it's worth every penny you pay. If I weren't liquidating my 60-year collection altogether, I'd be keeping this one. NOTE: The original inner sleeve is plastic wrap and difficult to reinsert into the sleeve properly. I'll include it with the shipment, but I'll place the vinyl in a new generic inner for proper protection in transit.
