Description

Here is a real find! There is only one "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult, and in 1978, it was issued as a promotional disc by Columbia, and backed with a live version.  This disc was available in both 7" and 12" sizes, and was NOT FOR SALE in stores, but sent straight to radio stations!

This is the 12-inch version, complete in a full-size jacket, and it's a very nice copy! It's been lightly handled over the years, and has some light ringwear, but NO splits.  There is a little scuffing on the lower half of the spine. Inner sleeve is present, and the vinyl, although not tested by me, looks unplayed or barely-played and is super-clean.  (Please note that what looks like marks are reflections in the vinyl; you can see they are in the same spots on both sides...I apologize for my lackluster photos!)

Interestingly, my personal copy is gold-stamped on the upper-right side of the blank back cover, saying DEMONSTRATION ONLY, etc. You've probably seen that very stamp on other albums.  This copy does NOT have such a stamp, which is strange. I suppose it was an oversight at the factory?
