Original UK CBS label stereo 1st press LP.
  Blue Oyster Cult's third LP released in April 1974, with lyrics written by Sandy Pearlman their manager/producer, Richard Meltzer and Patti Smith, who was the girlfriend of Allen Lenier at the time. This is the original issue with the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-6 A-5 stampers of the first presses!   The Shorepak matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear & some very light storage wear on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact, with some light discolouration and is in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only a couple of faint spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+, clear & precise with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief, low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & lively listen.   The matrix nos. are; CBS-(EPC crossed out)-S-80103, A-1 stamper A-6, B-1 stamper A-5. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1974 UK stereo issue of this album!
  All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!   All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.
  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
