Original UK CBS label stereo 1st press LP.
  Blue Oyster Cult's third album released in April 1974 and recorded in late 1973. The band wrote the music, but used lyrics written by Sandy Pearlman their manager/producer, Richard Meltzer the rock critic and Patti Smith, who was the girlfriend of Allen Lenier their keyboard/guitar player at the time. It became one of their best loved albums, all its tracks being live favourites at gigs over the next two decades.

This is the original issue, with the rough orange CBS labels, the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-6 A-5 stampers of the first presses!   The Shorepak matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear & some very light storage wear and discolouration on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact, with some light discolouration and is in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+, clear & precise with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief, low background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & lively listen.   The matrix nos. are; CBS-(EPC crossed out)-S-80103, A-1 stamper A-6, B-1 stamper A-5. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1974 UK stereo issue of this album!
