Description

Blue Oyster Cult's "The Revolution By Night" LP is a PROMO edition released by Columbia in 1983 and is SIGNED BY ALL 5 MEMBERS ON THIS ALBUM. SUPER RARE. This is the 1st album to NOT have Alan Bouchard behind the drum kit. Rick Downey played drums on this album and also signed this album making it as RARE as any BOC album is. This was his only album behind the drums based on Wikipedia. I recommend reviewing Wikipedia about the details of this album. I've uploaded as many pics as eBay allows but can send you as many as you would like. The signatures are in BLUE ballpoint ink. JSA COA completed as shown in the pics making this LEGIT. This album with all 5 autographs on this album. This could be one of one.  I did not obtain the signatures and have no clue as to when they were obtained but with Rick signing it had to be period specific when he was in the band. I have owned this for years and decided to get it certified and now it's time for someone else to own it. The vinyl is in VG++ if not a bit better and the release is the catalog number FC 38947. The jacket/cover has some minimal shelf wear, couple corner dings, small tear on spine, light crease in bottom left section. Overall a nice glossy jacket/cover. Inlay has some wear and minimal damage. See pics as I could only upload 2. Just some creasing in the upper/lower left corner from in/out of jacket. Cut/missing small piece on top/open end and left side. Seams are intact. Vinyl has some minimal markings and hairline scratches with one in particular but I've play tested this album and it sounded very good. I didn't notice anything of concern. Overall outside of the autographs and that is reason for price, the album is very nice to boot, just not perfect. This is also a PROMO album.
