WOW!!!  SUPER RARE!!!   Album #IV The Library of Congress  - Alan Lomax recordings - Afro-American Blues and Game Songs -  from the 1930s and 1940s.  4 disks MINT!!  10 and 12 inch disks.  (14 songs all together)

Library of Congress Label!!  WOW!!!  With Original printed lyrics and paperwork!!  (This one has extra lyrics and paperwork from other albums in this series also!!)

1)  1940 - (2 songs) a) Another Man Done Gone & Boll Weavil Blues.  Sung by Vera Hall at Livingston, Ala.   AND 1937 - (2 songs) a) Don't Mind the Weather. sung by Jim Henery at Parchman, Miss.  & Diamond Joe.  Sung by Charlie Butler at Parchman, Miss.

2)  1939 - (2 Songs) a)Two White Horses & Country Rag. Sung by Smith Casey at Clemens State Farm, Brazoria, Tex.  AND (2 songs)1939 - Shorty George. Sung by Smith Casey at Clemens State Farm, Brazoria, Tex & 1934 -  "BLUES" sung by "Little Brother" at Texas State Penitentiary, Huntsville, Texas.

Hello All.  I have taken another look at the records.  I regret to say the I can not call them MINT.  There are light surface scratches on 3 of the records. I would call Disk #2 and #3 Near MINT,  Disk #4 is VG+++.   DISK #1 IS MINT. 

Vamvakar, if you wish to retract your bid, Feel Free, this is my mistake, my appologies.    This is posted 9am Thursday  Feb 23.
