Description
Artist: MUDDY WATERS
Title: “More Real Folk Blues”
Label: CHESS ~ LP 1511. Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is pale blue with black text.
Year: 1967
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care. Side One label has initials written; otherwise clean. Fidelity is superb. A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+. Front artwork is clean, with a few traces of ring wear. Nice seams and spine. Light wear at corner tips. Reverse has name written in upper left corner, and some light ring wear. Small cut-out hole at upper left corner. Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.

Featuring another brace of early Chess sides from 1948-1952, this release features some essential tracks not found on The Chess Box. With the bludgeoning stomp of "She's Alright" featuring Elgin Evans' outstanding drumming and the moody introspection of "My Life Is Ruined" to be counted up among the numerous highlights, this is a fine budget package that Muddy (and lovers of early Chicago blues) fans certainly shouldn't overlook.”
