Description

For auction, an Amazingly Preserved Copy of one of the greatest Blues LP's of all time, from the Legendary Son House, Father Of Folk Blues, on Columbia 2417. Son House is arguably the finest Pre War Bluesman of all time, and this LP is his comeback LP, and was recorded in 165. The LP is in Glorious Mono, and is in E++ condition, with hardly a sign of being handled or played. The spindle is mark free, indicating the vinyl has hardly, if ever, seen a turntable. The LP has been stored in it's original Columbia PolyBag for decades, and the polybag is included in the auction. The disc is flat as a pancake, and plays superbly. The numbers in the dead wax end in 1B on both sides, indicating this is an early pressing. The cover is in E condition, with no seam splits.  The cover is made from extremely thick cardboard. I am very experienced with LP's, and will ship this fragile record in a 13 x 3 inch box, loaded with packing peanuts, so it will get to you safely.  Please note this is a 3 day auction, closing Saturday, so bid quickly.
