Blues Lightnin' Hopkins First Meetin' WP ST1817 DG '60. NM/NM Back cover has a number and "FM" stamp in lower left corner. Very minor wear on cover and record. Keeper.
Extra rare Lightning Hopkins Brownie McGhee, Sonny Terry and Big Joe Williams in a World Pacific stereo original pressing called First Meetin'. These four Bluesmen are backed by bassist Jimmy Bond. 6 choice cuts of Blues as seen in the photo above. This is a very valuable Blues record as there have been many reissues of this record, but this is a original pressing from July of 1960 and marked the first time either of these men had played with the other on any recorded work. World Pacific rarely ventured into the blues, making this even more of a collectors item.

If the order is over 4 pounds, there may be a higher charge for Priority or Express. We can't ship orders over 4 pounds via 1st class international. If an item sells for more then $250.00, you must accept Express Mail so we can get a signature as proof of delivery for Paypal and Ebay. We can accept other forms of payment if you don't want to pay the Express Mail fees but email us ahead of time to confirm. Express Mail averages around $55.00 to most countries but use the chart on our auction to see what it is for your country. Vat Taxes or Custom fees are the responsibility of the customer.

There is no tracking information till after your order gets out of Customs and we're seeing weeks and weeks from understaffing at customs. Shipping Materials. We normally use new materials (We do sometimes go green and recycle) to ship items. We pull the records out of the factory printed sleeve and place the record in a plain sleeve and then outside the cover to prevent seam splits and then put a plastic bag around it. We work hard for your business, we know you love your music and we want it to get to you safely. IF A RECORD IS SEALED, WE SHIP IT STILL SEALED.
