Never Goin’ Back To Georgia is a great but overlooked album. Three gold records and 700 Holiday Inns later the Blues Magoos reflect a new time and face. Peppy, the lead singer and guitarist who also belonged to the other era Magoos was responsible for the reorganization of the group. After many months of looking for the right combination of musicians he found them in Eric-Justin Kaz for keyboards, John Liello vibes & vocals, and Roger Eaton for Bass. This is the debut album of the new Blues Magoos. Herb Lovelle on drums, Dean on flute, Richie and Tito on Conga with Soto on Alto sax rounds out the experienced musicians appearing on this album. The truth is the Blues Magoos were an early psychedelic music group with some modest success. This album is a seminal work but never got the play it deserved. If you listen to it a few times the professional quality of the musicians working together is awesome. Perhaps the somewhat jazz and blues oriented sound at a time when Led Zeppelin, Santana and Creedence were king did not match the popular sound of the year it was released.

Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has some ring wear, light age spots and a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
