Stag 509 by Big Joe Turner as Big Vernon

Hot Nuts / Dirty Grinder = G+

Good plus condition, heavy wear & surface marks, mostly even surface noise (hear sample), writing on label (see scan), vocal with Pete Johnson - piano, raw performances of risqué titles, not listed in discography, San Francisco, 1948

Records are graded visually and confirmed by playing. I grade 78s conservatively using the VJM scale. This means records graded N- are nearly spotless and records graded G, although considerably worn, still play with music being slightly dominant to surface noise. Specific flaws will be noted along with the grade.
