Description
Prestige Bluesville 1077, "The Blues of J.T. Adams and Shirley Griffith: Indiana Ave. Blues", from 1963. This is the 1964+ trident-label pressing. The vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. The cover has light seamwear with just the start of a split at lower right. There is a bit of corner wear, and a small partial bend at upper left that leaves the jacket basically straight and is easy to miss. The jacket back is very clean with no writing and has the usual factory "RW" stamp on it. Songs are "Walkin' Blues", "Match Box Blues", "Indiana Avenue Blues", "In the Evening", "'A' Jump", "Oh Mama How I Love You", "Kansas City", "Bright Street Jump", "Done Changed the Lock on My Door", "Blind Lemon's Blues", and "Naptown Boogie". Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $22.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. If you are overseas and win 3 or more LPs, wait to pay and I will charge EXACT POSTAGE. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
