Description
Blur “Best Of”. Extremely rare, original Limited Edition UK 2LP housed in Gatefold Jacket with outer “blur” Logo PVC Slip Cover and color printed inner sleeves. Beautiful pastel color art work on this. I am not sure exactly many of these were actually pressed, but it was extremely rare to find even when it was initially released in the year 2000 and sold out almost immediately. Parlophone Records. Made in the United Kingdom. Out of print.
NEW, UNPLAYED. I am the original owner and bought this brand new when it first came out and have never played the vinyl. It has been safely stored in a smoke-free environment.
The gatefold sleeve is housed within a heavy duty PVC sleeve. The PVC sleeve has "Blur" printed upon it, which overlays the sleeve beneath creating a sleeve composite which completes the sleeve artwork.
The inner gatefold features retrospective artwork, photography, lyrics and credits. The record's themselves are held in printed inner sleeves.
LP GATEFOLD JACKET: As new. Simply beautiful. Some barely noticeable, very minor fraying to some corners that are only visible if you were to scrutinize it very closely. Around the center portion of the front cover (in between the image of Dave and Damon, there is a very faint sort of line indent mark that you can only detect if you tilt the cover at an angle towards bright light. Even then, it is barely visible and you probably would’ve never know it was even there if I didn’t mention this. So hard to see as it is. See collage pic.
INNER SLEEVES: As new. No seam-splits. Crisp corners.
VINYL: Never played, stunning heavyweight vinyl with a super rich, deep, mirror-like gloss. When I tilt the vinyl at an angle against direct sunlight, I couldn’t find any major cosmetic flaws except a couple barely noticeable, extremely tiny marks (the kind typical factory marks caused from the vinyl surface rubbing up against the inside of the the paper inner sleeves that you often find even on new, unplayed vinyl). So insignificant and tiny are these that they are impossible to photograph.
OUTER CLEAR PVC SLIP COVER: As new except for a minor line mark that is very faint and only detectable if you hold it up against very bright light without the actual LP Jacket inserted. You can’t really see it if you were to insert the LP jacket into it, however. Please see the picture. There is also a slight portion along one of the corner seams where it has split but it is very small. There is a tiny, rectangular-shaped notch along one side of the opening edge. Not sure why that is, but this is how it was when I bought it new. See pics.
