Description
Very rare 1st pressing of "Modern Life Is Rubbish" by Blur on Food Records from 1993. Rare enough in itself before we get to the fact that this is an incredibly rare mispress. Side A is as it should be but Side B has the B-side of Blur's debut album "Leisure" pressed on it instead. The matrix number in the run out groove on Side 2 is FOODLP6 (which is the cat number for "Leisure".) The sleeve is in excellent condition with only very light edge wear. A few spots of the lacquer on the front cover have come away when a price sticker was removed which you can see if you hover over the first picture. The printed inner is also in excellent condition with no sign of any seam splits. The vinyl is also excellent but has a few very light hairlines which are visible under a bright light. There is a bit of light crackle, mainly between tracks, but this is probably because they have tried to cram almost 30 minutes worth of music onto one side. If it was released today it would be a double (as the 2012 reissue was). This is one of the ultimate Blur rarities so don't snooze, you won't see another one anytime soon.
