Description

Blur: The Best of Blur original double vinyl LP (2000) FOODDLP33

This record is described as rare and super rare on various sites and highly sought after.

The four sides of vinyl play very well. There are one or two visible hairline surface marks as you might expect from a record that is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. These don't seem to have an impact on the quality of play. There is a very slight click near the beginning of Park Life. I had to listen several times to work out whether it was actually part of the song.

The gatefold sleeve is housed within a heavy-duty clear plastic sleeve. The sleeve has ‘Blur’ printed upon it, which overlays the sleeve beneath creating a sleeve composite which completes the sleeve artwork. The artwork itself is by artist, Julian Opie.

The inner gatefold features retrospective artwork, photography, lyrics and credits. The record's themselves are held in printed inner sleeves featuring Julian Opie portraits of each band member.

There is some minuscule scuffing to the corners of the gatefold – see picture.

The inner sleeves are in good condition. Dave/Alex are mint. Damon/Graham – Damon has a very slight crease around bottom righthand corner which is even less visible on Graham's side of the inner sleeve! See picture.

The plastic sleeve has a tiny tear to the top right hand corner measuring 1cm along the seam and 7mm down but otherwise ok. See picture.

Please have a good zoom in the pix to see condition. I've mentioned things that I probably wouldn't have done on a lower priced listing and think that I have covered everything I possibly could. And, please get in touch with any questions. If you win and have questions before I post, please also get in touch.
