Description
For any R&B fanatic this is a piece of R&B history which will never be repeated as the great man, 'The Originator' and inspiration to many of todays musicians, died on 2nd June 2008
I bought this record in 1962 (so it is 51 years old!!) and, as it has been played many times it is not in unmarked condition, but plays perfectly.
On 21st March 1984, the late Bo Diddley and his support band appeared live at 'Fat Sams' , Dundee, Scotland. At that time I was a Police Officer and I went backstage and spoke to the great little man.
He remarked to his entourage that Pye International owed him some royalties and then after a chat, he signed both the LP and the protective cover and dated it 1984.
I have included the original 'Fat Sams' flyer so the provenance is good.
I have also included the single 'Pretty Thing' which I bought in 1963 because this track was not on the LP. Unfortunately I did not take with me at the time, and is not signed.
