This auction is for a rare and highly sought-after vinyl copy of the second album by electronica artists Boards Of Canada. Geogaddi was released in 2002 on Warp Records, cat no. warplp101.

The vinyl is in excellent condition - it has been played but there are no visible surface marks or scratches - it plays just as nicely and smoothly as when I bought it. This is because I've been listening to a digital copy and have only used the vinyl a handful of times.

There is some storage wear on the corners of the outer sleeve, and along the top edge where the cardboard has split (see photos), but overall the sleeve condition is "good" (no fading or creases - see below for grading information).

The double sided inner sleeves are in excellent condition, reflecting the overall quality of the vinyl itself. Side 6 ("Magic Window") is blank - completely smooth with no grooves - and there are one or 2 very light surface marks, but this shouldn't detract from your enjoyment of the record.

I'm selling this with no reserve due to the wear on the sleeve. I use Record Collector Magazine's grading system, so please check below for what "good" condition means, and please bear this in mind when you place a bid. I'm happy to supply additional photos if required.

However, the vinyl sounds fantastic - perfect for either home listening or DJ use - and I hope this excellent LP will go to an appreciative home. I'm selling it because it's been in storage for several years and it's complete waste if it's not being used.

Record Collectors Grading System

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
