Description
Here is an ORIGINAL Philles Blue Label LP from 1963 by Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans-- an entity that Phil Spector cobbled together from session singers and a group called the Blossoms. Darlene Love and Fanita James, being Blossoms, also recorded the Crystals' "He's A Rebel" and "He's Sure the Boy I Love." With Bobby Sheen's illustrious voice added, the result was magic: the title song went Top Ten that year! Darlene and the Blossoms basically supplied all the voices for most all of Spector's 1962-1963 hits.
I hopped on my bicycle on Christmas Eve of 1970 and hurried to my oldies record store to buy this brand new. I love this album! It's sheer genius.

CONDITION: Well, I've had this since 12/25/1970, and played it. The cover shows all the usual indications of wear and storage: a couple of seam splits, scotch tape, written numbers, wear... the LP played perfectly and without skips the last time I played it, which was MANY years ago. The vinyl looks very good-- still rather shiny, though it shows evidence of use. This was an album that we loved to play in my house when I was a kid.
