Well, I can't believe I'm going to part with this, but here it is: one of the bigger finds of my modest crate-digging history. 
ORIGINAL "New Sounds" Bob Desper LP. This isn't the reissue from Discourage records, it's the original, extremely rare 1974 pressing from Rose City Sound. Only a handful of these have turned up ever and it appears it's been over a year since ebay's seen one. Here's your chance.
Probably have to grade both the Jacket and Record as a strong VG going strictly by Goldmine standards. Although when I read GM's grading descriptions, it actually feels like its better than their description of VG, just not quite sharp enough to be VG+.

APPEARANCE: Jacket is still in the shrink and shows signs of aging, general yellowing and edge wear to the opening, otherwise in great solid shape. Shrink is still attached and has done a great job keeping the jacket in good shape al of these years, but it is split on one side is now trying to come off. Old price sticker on the shrink. Vinyl has a fair amount of scuffs and light scratches, almost all of which are of the "you gotta hold it at the right angle under bright light to see them" with just a couple scuffs and light scratches that are more obvious. None of the vinyl marks are deep enough to be felt with a fingertip.
LISTENING: First off, everything I read suggests that the pressing quality is pretty low on this pressing, so I'm not sure how much of the noise I can hear comes from that bad pressing and how much comes from wear to the vinyl itself. The first minute or two of side one has a consistent light tick. A little annoying, but it certainly doesn't kill the music. there's probably another two to three minutes throughout the record that feature some ticks that are also enough to be annoying to the listener, but not enough to kill the mood. Much of the record has some light fuzz in the background, but it's doesn't overpower the music at all, and it's easy to lose track of.
The short is, this is an awesome find for collector's and if you've been waiting for one of these, this is probably a good time to jump at it. But you'll want to keep your reissue on hand for everyday listening due to the underwhelming pressing quality and light wear to the vinyl on this. If you're like me, you'll enjoy one or two thorough listenings on this original pressing, then you'll tuck it away somewhere nice just to admire it while keeping the reissue in regular rotation.

...forgot to mention that this doesn't include the original inner paper sleeve. I suspect this hasn't actually received a whole ton of play from its previous owner, and that the wear on the vinyl comes from it being stored loose inside the cardboard jacket. It's been in a high quality inner sleeve since I got it, and that's how I'll deliver to you.
