Description
Three very rare EPs briefly issued by Fontana but then quickly withdrawn. They contain live recordings from the Newport Folk Festival in 1963 featuring Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger and others. The first EP TFE 18009 titled "With God On Our Side" has 3 songs -"With God On Our Side" sung by Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, "The Bells Of Rhymney" sung by Pete Seeger and "Wagoners Lad" sung by Joan Baez. The second EP TFE 18010 is titled "Blowing In The Wind" and has 3 songs - "Blowing In The Wind" sung by Bob Dylan with a group of fellow performers who joined him on stage, "Oh Freedom" sung by Joan Baez and "Careless Love" sung by Pete Seeger. The third EP TFE 18011 is titled "Ye Playboys and Playgirls" and has 3 songs - "Ye Playboys And Playgirls" sung by Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger, "Te Ador; Te Manha" sung by Joan Baez and "This Land Is Your Land" sung by Pete Seeger.
The condition of the vinyl EPs is Mint having been played only a few times and stored in sleeves and covers since purchased. Please see the photos. The white paper inner sleeves are also in excellent condition. The outer sleeves are in Good condition for their age having been stored in plastic covers for many years. However, they do show some ageing - please see the photos for detail - and the third EP has some orange watermarking on the rear side only.
