Historic Bob Dylan recorded live from January 12, 1990 at Toad's Place, New Haven, CT. USA. This is a 4 vinyl record release. THERE ARE 35 RECORDED LIVE SONGS. (This is not the 2 disc CD version.) Each vinyl record represents a different set that night at Toad's. Hard to find in vinyl. First Press. Rare Vinyl box set. The box has some water damage. It was repaired using regular clear packing tape. The Front photo has some damage (the corner is torn), but is mostly intact. The rear photo is the original track listing and in good condition. The records were not damaged at all and in fact, look like they were never even played. This recording is noted for stage interaction (Rare for Dylan) and good sound quality from an indoor small venue in Connecticut, USA . "Every once in a while we play requests,” Bob Dylan said to the audience at Toad’s Place, in New Haven, Connecticut, where he and his band were playing what amounted to an open rehearsal. When a voice from the front row of the club called out for “Congratulations,” from the Traveling Wilburys album, Dylan’s face lit up. Turning his back on the audience of 700, Dylan — who had only performed the song once before — was forced to show his band the chords for the mocking ballad." Rolling Stone, March 8, 1990. The Never Ending Tour 1990 started off with a tour called the Fastbreak tour where Dylan performed in the United States, Brazil, France and England in less than thirty days. This tour started off with a one-off performance at Toad's Place in New Haven Connecticut. Dylan performed four sets that evening and performed a total of fifty songs; this was also the longest of Dylan's concerts to date. During the tour Dylan also performed four concerts in Paris, France and six sold out concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, England.price rating
