For sale is this UK original vinyl album by Bob Dylan. Entitled Another Side Of Bob Dylan, it contains 11 tracks (see track listing below) and is housed in a front-laminated non-flipback sleeve. On the CBS label, the catalogue number is SBPG 62429 and the date of issue is 1964. This is the stereo first pressing (pressed by Philips as CBS didn't have their own UK pressing plant until late 1964, after the initial copies of this album were pressed) and has all of the first pressing features listed below. (Copies that don't have all of these features are not first pressings.) This is one of the hardest Dylan first pressings to find as production switched from Philips to CBS so quickly (you can also find some early CBS pressings with Philips matrix labels that were being used up just after the changeover).
First Pressing Features
- Philips pressing with 1Y / 2Y matrix numbers on labels and in run-outs (later CBS pressings have A / B matrices and date from shortly afterwards)
- Fully textured labels
- No "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED" label text (this was dropped shortly after release)
- "33" on the labels (this was changed to "33⅓" in late 1967)
- 22 mm pressing ring on the labels (later CBS pressings have a 32 mm pressing ring)
- Catalogue number printed immediately to the left of the CBS logo on the back cover (later pressings have the catalogue number to the left, but near the middle, of the CBS logo, then later still below the CBS logo)
- Large stereo logo in the top right of the front cover (this was later moved to top middle before being removed altogether) and top left of the back cover

Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good Minus condition.
The textured labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks.
The front-laminated cover is in Very Good Plus condition with just slight flattening of the spine and a small laminate crack on the spine over the word "BOB". The spine is complete with clear printing.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
