Description

Received Father and Son Bob Dylan Biograph box sets Christmas 1985. We played mine. Dad's stayed in the shrink wrap (still 30 years later)! I sill play mine and have it on CD as well. Perfect overview of the fist 25 years of Dylan. Well-worth it.

This was one of the first boxed sets ever issued on a rock artist, and its mix of essential tracks and rarities (live tracks, B-sides, demos, alternate takes and unreleased songs) set the standard for many boxes to come. This new jewel-box-sized version, however, has better mastering and a list price lower than the original LP-size version, not to mention pure genius in every track from its first ( Lay, Lady, Lay ) to its last ( Forever Young ) and the 51 in between.
