Bob Dylan’s 5 LP career retrospective box set ‘Biograph’, with two 12” booklets.
The vinyl is in VG+ condition. On visual inspection, it looks great and plays brilliantly from start to finish. There is a very small skip in ‘Most Likely You’ll Go Your Way’, and a small pop during ‘Up To Me’, but otherwise there are no skips and only some light noise. The recordings sound brilliant - I think this must have been remastered for the box set as they all sound fantastically crisp.
The sleeves and inserts are in VG+ condition also. The box and sleeves all look great with very little wear. The booklets are in excellent condition too: one is 36 page with colour and b&w photographs and biographical liner notes by Cameron Crowe, the other has notes on every song.
When released, this box set contained a number of unreleased songs, alternative takes and rarities, including: I’ll Keep It With Mine, Percy’s Song, Jet Pilot, Quinn The Eskimo, Lay Down Your Weary Tune, Abandoned Love, You’re A Big Girl Now, Up To Me, Caribbean Wind, Baby I’m In The Mood, I Wanna Be Your Lover (all outtakes) Heart Of Mine, Romance In Durango, Its All Over Now Baby Blue, I Don’t Believe You, Visions Of Johanna (all live recordings), Mixed Up Confusion, Please Crawl Out Your Window, Grooms Still Waiting At The Altar, Positively 4th Street (all single-only releases).
