The original UK stereo releases (1966-67) used the 1966 US mix and had a printed &quotSTEREO" logo at the top centre of the front cover. Later stereo releases (1968-69) used the mono cover with a hexagonal gold foil &quotStereo" sticker on the back. The records have orange CBS labels. The 1968 US mix was not used in the UK until around 1982.

The first release of the album used a rough textured stereo label with centre boxed logo with &quotBLONDE ON BLONDE" above &quotBob Dylan" &quotRECORD 1" etc. on the right and showing the record speed as just 33 & not 33 1/3

The stamped Matrices in the run off are SDDP 66012 A/1 B/1 C/1 & D/1.

The inners are of the orange CBS catalogue type.

Sleeve :-

The sleeve is front laminated with 45º edged internal flipbacks.
The nine pictures inside include that of Claudia Cardinale which was removed from later presses.
The inside panels are clean & unblemished.
The spine is still clearly readable & this copy has obviously been stored very well indeed. The colours are fantastic & there is just some minor laminate creasing with age.

Vinyl :-

Both vinyl discs are super clean & grade a respectable VG/VG- with just a few mild scuff marks on side one which have little effect on play. All three other sides are much higher quality with no similar blemishes.
