Grading and Item Description
The record and cover is graded as VG -
The records have retained their original high sheen. There are multiple fine hairlines from general use and sleeve removal from through the years.
There are a couple of larger surface marks on each side of the records.
All this said none of these marks result in any skipping and the record still plays through well. I have tested this on a quality record player with Earphones and the music really does sound excellent.
There is some low level surface noise during play but again nothing that over powers the music and is mainly confined to the dead wax between the tracks.
Cover in decent shape with a small sticker mark at the top. Some slight splitting on the bottom, original sleeves included but these both have splits.
Postage
Record will be posted in 12 inch Vinyl packaging to ensure secure delivery.
Grading Guide Basis
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition, with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyrics sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: Record can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. The cover or sleeve will have seam splits. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
