WHITE LABEL PROMO RADIO STATION COPY
Bob Dylan has solidified himself to be one of the most (if not THE most) important songwriters ever. And I hate to say it, but he's in the twilight of his life and won't be around forever, so this record will only go up in value. Blonde on Blonde stands as one of his crowning acheivements. And this is a very rare white label promo edition copy. Since it is a promo copy, it is a "girl photo" version, as apparent in the pictures you can see by clicking on the link at the end of the listing. The condition of the record is as follows:
COVER: VG
No seam splits. Minor ringwear. A couple of tears on the spine, but the title and artist is still on there. Tiny part of the front cover is scuffed from where a sticker was pulled off. The timing strip on the back is almost fully intact. Only a small portion has been torn off. There is a small blue pen mark on the timing strip. Inside of the gatefold, there are a couple underline marks on some of the names.
VINYL:
DISC 1 ?
I'm really not sure what to grade the first disc, because it plays great with two exceptions. On side 1, there is a scratch across it that is mostly unnoticable when you listen to it, except in the very quietest parts where it creates a little surface noise. If you pay close attention, then you'll notice it. Otherwise, it's not very distracting. Then, on side 2, there is a small nick that causes a skip in the song "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat." It skips the line "You know, I don't mind him cheatin' on me" in the third verse, but then goes on to play normally. Other than these two imperfections, the record plays with minimal surface noise and sounds good. There are minor scratches that don't affect play. A tiny number 13 is written in blue pen on side 2.
DISC 2 VG+
This disc is in much better shape. There are some minor superficial scratches on both sides, but they do not affect play. Minimal surface noise. There is some kind of faint pink discoloration on both sides of the label. No writing on this disc.
