Rare collectors dream. This is a 1966 1st UK stereo pressing of Dylan's most sought after LP an original Blonde on Blonde double LP with the banned picture of Italian actress Claudia Cardinale in the gatefold.
Dylan had originally asked the jacket photographer to include Cardinale's photo in the gatefold jacket when he saw it in the photographers collection. However, they had not asked Cardinale for her permission to run it. Subsequently, when she saw it she demanded that CBS pull the photo. So only the very first few records that were pressed include her photo. The cover was later pulled and the Cardinale photo was removed.
This is a UK press with a laminated gatefold and the Cardinale photo on the inner gatefold jacket. CBS 66012 is the cat. #
The first stereo UK pressing was issued on these orange CBS labels. Inside the sleeve track B2 appears as " Stuck Inside of Mobile with Thee".

The vinyl is an easy Near Mint minus. Both records still have most of their original sheen. There is not one scratch or scuff on any sides of these 2 LPs.
Both records play like they were almost brand new. There is no crackles, pops of hisses at all.
The records do have a visible wave to them when they turn on the turntable. However, the cartridge and stylus have no trouble at all tracking through the slight wave and the wave has no effect on the playback sound quality, which is superb.
There are no splits or tears to the laminated gatefold jacket. It is a sold VG+. There are some visible wrinkle indentations to the front jacket cover up near Dylan's hair. Also same indentations on the rear jacket cover down by the bottom of his coat.
